Our Chalet in Les Arcs is a beautifully renovated Alpine farmhouse set in the unspoilt French farming village of Le Loissel, Villaroger, Les Arcs, Paradiski ” a true home from home”, and only 15 mins from the town of Bourg St Maurice. In the heart of the Haute Tarentaise this Alpine Hamlet is full of natural charm and beauty yet only minutes from the BIG Resorts of Les Arcs, Sainte Foy,  La Rosiere, Tignes, Val D’Isere. Away from the hustle and bustle of commercialised resorts you will sample typical French Alpine lifestyle with all the home comforts. Looked after by the ourselves “Jonny and Kumari” , we have years of experience in the Chalet business and know what makes a fabulous holiday. During the winter some of the worlds best skiing is only minutes away from our door, the nearest being a four minute drive to Paradiski comprising of Les Arcs and La Plagne. This is one of the largest ski areas in the world, which we enter via the chairlift at Villaroger. Although there is endless skiing in Paradiski (over 425km of pistes and 143 lifts), our neighbouring resorts of Val D’Isere, Tignes, La Rosiere and Sainte Foy are only a 15-20 minute drive away. This enables you to ski up to 7 different resorts , visiting a different place every day, if you wanted to.

For those people that normally only pick ski in ski out chalets, please come and stay as many of our guests now wouldn’t choose to stay and ski in just one Resort. They love our concept of skiing different areas and having choice and variation.

Some may also think twice about having a four minute drive to the lift instead of being situated ski in – ski out which means within walking distance of a lift or piste. We say, which would you prefer, a short four min drive to a free carpark with a lift pass office next to the skilift with no queues, in the beautiful unspoilt village of Villaroger or a long walk in clumpy skiboots , carrying heavy skis , dragging the kids to a  lift that you then have to queue to get up the mountain? Give us a try, you will not be disappointed! 

 

 

                     

We are totally flexible on bookings, come for a long weekend skiing, a short break skiing ,  the usual week, or even  2 week stay and  make use of the cheaper flights. During the Summer we offer the Summer Chalet on a Self Catering basis, although catering can be arranged by request.

 

In our Les Arcs Catered Chalet the food is just as important as the skiing and our food has aften been described as restaurant standard. Everything is freshly prepared by ourselves, and our varied menu includes flavours from other countries as well as delicious English and French dishes.  You will start the day with a hearty breakfast , scrumptious homemade cakes will await your return from the slopes for you to enjoy , and before dinner you can  treat yourself to a dip in the out-door hottub. Pre – dinner drinks and nibbles are taken around a roaring fire, before a beautiful 4 course evening meal accompanied by good BOTTLED wine is served, and the tales of the day are relived.

  

Summer is stunningly beautiful and you are surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The lifts are open in July and August for mountain bikers and walkers if you prefer to have the uplift without the effort. For road cyclists the Famous Cols featured on the Tour de France are on our doorstep. For families there are endless activities to do, such has high rope adventure, rafting, cycle rides, parapenting, glacial skiing and outdoor swimming pools and lakes.
