Very accessible. We are centrally located in the Tarentaise Valley, with easy access via air, rail, and road:

  • By Air: We are within easy reach of four major airports: Chambery (1h 30m), Geneva (2h 15 min), Lyon (2h), and Grenoble (2h). We can recommend or organise both private and shared transfers.
  • By Rail: The Bourg-Saint-Maurice TGV/Eurostar station is just 20 minutes away, car rental is available close to the station.
  • By Road: Approx. 8h 30m from Calais or 7h from Paris.

Ski Villaroger is just a 5-minute drive from the new in 2025 high-speed gondola. This state-of-the-art lift whisks you directly into the Les Arcs ski area in only 7 minutes, providing seamless access to the Paradiski domain.

Absolutely Yes! Villaroger offers high-altitude, snow-sure skiing with access to the Aiguille Rouge glacier, where the highest lift reaches 3,226m. The new in 2025 Villaroger gondola is located just 5 minutes from our chalet, providing quick access to some of the most reliable snow in the French Alps.

Yes. We offer plentiful free private parking directly outside the chalet, making it ideal for guests who prefer to drive or use a rental car for a “Ski Safari” experience.

Yes, absolutely. With over 20 years of local experience, we work with the best ski schools in Villaroger, Sainte Foy and Les Arcs. Whether you need group lessons or a private instructor, get in touch and we will happily handle the arrangements for your party.

No. To ensure the comfort of all our guests and to accommodate those with allergies, we maintain a pet-free environment in the chalet.

We comfortably sleep 10 guests, but can accommodate up to 12 with children sharing their parent’s rooms. The chalet features 4 en-suite bedrooms, making it perfect for large families or groups of friends.

Right in the chalet. We offer a premium delivery and collection service. Your ski and boot hire is fitted in the comfort of the chalet, meaning no queuing in shops and more time on the mountain.

No. We recommend that all guests hire or bring their own car. This gives you the freedom to reach the Villaroger/Les Arcs gondola in 5 minutes and explore the other world-famous Tarentaise resorts nearby.

Yes, it is highly recommended. Having a car allows you to maximise your “Ski Safari” and easily reach the seven world-class resorts surrounding us, as well as local shops and restaurants.

Yes. We welcome guests throughout the seasons.

  • Winter: We offer premier catered and self-catered ski holidays with direct access to the Paradiski domain.
  • Summer & Autumn: The chalet becomes the ultimate base for Alpine hiking and walking, with trails through wildflower meadows and the Vanoise National Park starting from our doorstep.
  • Cycling & MTB: We are a hub for road cyclists tackling the famous Tour de France Cols (Iseran and Petit Saint Bernard as well as the Cormet de Roseland) and mountain bikers accessing the vast lift-serviced downhill trails of Les Arcs, Tignes, Val d’Isere and La Thuile.

Yes. The local authorities are experts at mountain maintenance; if it snows, the roads are ploughed regularly to ensure safe and easy access to the chalet and the ski lifts.

The fully catered package at Ski Villaroger is a premium, all-inclusive experience featuring gourmet dining and an open bar. Your stay includes:

  • Daily Mountain Breakfast: A comprehensive spread of porridge, cereals, pastries, eggs, yoghurts, fresh breads, jams and fruit. A traditional cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs is served one morning per week.
  • Afternoon Tea: Return from the slopes to delicious homemade cakes, biscuits, and hot refreshments.
  • Restaurant-Standard Dinners: A 4-course evening meal, including a local Savoyard cheese board, served 5 nights a week. (On the remaining 2 nights, guests have the opportunity to explore local village restaurants).
  • Unlimited All-Inclusive Drinks: An open bar available anytime, featuring Gin & Tonics, fizz, high-quality bottled wines, beers and a selection of soft drinks.
  • Local Expertise: Direct access to hosts with 20+ years of experience for personalised weather and terrain advice in the local ski resorts.

Yes. While we are a premier catered chalet in the winter, we offer self-catering options during select weeks in the ski season. From May until December, the chalet is exclusively available on a self-catering basis, providing the perfect hub for summer alpine adventures.

There are several fantastic family-run spots within a 5-10 minute drive. We recommend the smaller village restaurants for the most authentic atmosphere and for locally sourced côte de boeuf and Beaufort cheese.

During peak weeks, the best spots fill up fast! Because we have lived here for over 20 years, we know exactly which tables are the most sought-after. Just let us know your preference, and we will personally handle the reservation for you.

Absolutely! We want everyone to enjoy our “restaurant-standard” dining experience. Our menus are international and inspired by our travels, allowing us to easily adapt dishes for Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Dairy-Free guests.

  • In the Chalet: With prior notice, we can tailor our 4-course dinners to your needs. Please note there is a small additional charge per person to cover the specialised ingredients, which are more costly to source in the mountains.

  • Dining Out: On our evenings off or for your lunches, we’ll guide you to the best local restaurants that excel at plant-based or allergy-aware menus. While traditional Savoyard food is famous for its cheese and meat, we know exactly which local kitchens offer the best modern, inclusive alternatives.

Yes, the Tarentaise Valley is a hotspot for gourmet dining. While Villaroger dining is quiet and peaceful, the neighbouring high-altitude resorts host several Michelin-recognised establishments featuring world-class tasting menus.

The nearest village bars and restaurants are just a 5-minute drive away. We are happy to recommend local favourites or arrange taxi services for your group.

Major shops and supermarkets are located in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, just a 10-minute drive away. Here you’ll find large supermarkets, local bakeries and a wide selection of specialised alpine stores.

Yes. We offer flexible stays with a 4-night minimum in winter and a 3-night minimum in summer. These are ideal for long weekends or mid-week getaways.

Yes. We can accommodate long-term rentals for those looking for an extended alpine retreat. Please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements and rates.

Yes. Most resorts in the Paradiski and Espace Killy domains open at the beginning of December. Thanks to our high altitude and glacier access, we enjoy snow-sure conditions from the very start of the season, until the end of April.
