  We have had the Weetmans here along with the Simpkins and true to form Joanne got good weather as always. The Simpkins skied in Ste Foy most of the week as they had ski school, the Weetman boys took a private ESF instructor and came on in leaps and bounds. Everyone left with sun tans as you can see by the photos. We skied over to La Plagne one day and headed up to the glacier. Snow was good and up until Thursday of this week we have been skiing down Villaroger side and down loading on the first lift!!! This photo was taken over in La Plagne showing great conditions!!!   It was National all in One day, so of course we all had to take part. It was in Ste Foy and all the locals made an effort. We all skied together and had some strange looks from everyone.Suprising that!!!!   We then had Vera and her group in. They skied all over, and loved it in Val D’Isere. One of the party Ina was not skiing so she visited the Spa and did lots of shopping. Many thanks to Gav, sarah and Becky who returned again for the third time this season.   During the last few days we have had more snow , which has really livened things up. We are still able to ski down to Villaroger, but just download on the bottom chairlift , which is no problem.We have superb conditions in les Arcs at the moment , and actually found empty pistes this week despite it being Easter holidays. Thanks to The Howdens, Schofields and Paul and Bhu who came 2 weeks ago. We had a great time with you all and your little girls are so cute. Here is a picture of our girls with jasmine and Harriet. We skied in Ste Foy a little that week and once again there was nobody around, it was perfect. We took this pic there   Harry, Gary and Andrew, came last week for a long weekend. We had great weather, blue skies and sun and made sure they skied hard whilst they were here. We went for a mongolian meal at East in Arc 1950 one evening. We skied all day, then met some friends at Luigis for drinks at 5pm. Then we had a meal at East at 6.30pm, and finally left there at 9pm. We then skied back in the dark via the Rhonaz Track through the forest at the bottom of 1950. We all had our head torches on, or most of us did Les!!!!!It was a great laugh and we will definitely be doing it again sometime. Heres a couple of photos from the evening   Anneha has done her first slalom race , followed by another this last weekend. The first was the Grand Prix in Villaroger and the course was down the red at the top of the 2nd lift. She was a bit nervous but she did so well , never missing a gate. The second race was in Ste Foy and once again she did us proud and finished the course without a mistake. It was sheet ice as well and lots of the kids fell or missed gates. We are now thinking of our Summer and anyone wanting to book the chalet on a self catering basis is more than welcome. Please get in touch to discuss a price if anyone is intersested.   Sorry not written sooner but time has flown. Well we have had the first girls to make the tub, well done Meg, Sophie and Harriet, Solange was very impressed when you 3 made it into the basin!!!!! We had a lovely week with the Hansons party, the only downside being Sally who had a fall and damaged her crutiat ligament on the first day. This meant she did not ski for the rest of the week which was a shame especially as we went over to Italy again and up to Val as well during the week. All the girls were shattered by the end of the week and said they had done the most skiing ever!!!!We had our favourite chocolate stop on route to Italy and made it to La Thuile for lunch. Here is a pic of us in Italy , along with one of Andy and| Harry who skied brilliantly during their short stay.   It was great to meet up with Jo and Mick Thompson In Tignes and all your friends. Look forward to seeing you at ours again next year. Conditions have been great with blue skies and sun most of the week. Snow is forecast especially up high , hopefully at night as we are enjoying the sunshine. Next lot in are the Howdens, Schofields, Paul Highton, and Harry, Gary and Andrew. Write again soon.

  Ive just got a free half hour so thought I would write this update, especially as I know Heather will be having a look for her pic on the Web. The Rotheras left us yesterday and we had the Weatherills, Hawkers, Fletch and Nic all back for their second visit this season. Thanks to you all. We enjoyed having you here again and had some lovely days skiing.The weather was a little mixed with a bit of snow but also sun. The pistes were in good condition and although its still the Paris Holidays, we managed again to avoid any little queues. We all even skied together one morning and here is the picture showing us all over in Vallandry!!! Hope the knee is feeling better Fletch and hope you did not get charged too much excess baggage Heather with all those marmottes you took home!!!! Fi is doing well with her skiing, she loves it, well actually she loves the chocolate stop more after. Anneha is really looking after her too, cannot wait until we can actually ski all together for the morning.Her is a photo taken yesterday in Villaroger. We have now got the Hansons, Phillips and Jovanavics in, 3rd visit too so its just like old times.Andy and Harry (2nd visit again this year) are back too for a short break so we re in for another great week. Jonny is skiing the Foglietta this morning (South side), so another good day at the office for him, and the rest of the guests are in Ste Foy.Its blue skies and sun. See you soon!!!!!!

  Well in the last 2 weeks we’ve been as busy as ever, especially as its been half term. We had Debbie, Stefan and Russell with us along with the Hawkers and The Stevens Family and the Beckinghams. Unfortunately Gemma did not make the basin so we are still awaiting the first girl to complete the challenge!!!! We had beautiful weather most of that week and then this week its snown and snown. Weve had over 2 metres up high in the last 7 days. We had the Brewster group this last week who burnt the candle at both ends. They made it up to Val for a night out and had very snowy days.Ross we hope you are feeling better and Sues, that calf muscle is repairing!!!!!   Sorry not written sooner but its been half term weeks and we have been so busy. We had a good week with the Stewart Family who actually had the next 3 people in their group to take a dip in the village basin. That makes 5 people now, we are still waiting for a girl to do it, although Gemma this week has actually mentioned she might do it!!!!Watch this space!!!! Here is Andy, Dan and Mark braving the elements, once again Mutsig played its part!!!!   We had snow and sun during the week and conditions once again were good. We then had the Hopkinson family along with the “southern boys”, Ross, Andy , David and their sons. We all got along so well and had a few late nights, despite a few tumbles “in the chalet” Ross and Andy!!!! This is a photo of the boys at the top of Arc 2000 last week.   More snow is forecast tomorrow and they are predicting lots. We have been used to blue skies and sun so snow would be a nice change!!!!! We have had Chris, Kelly, Amber , Clare and Tris in along with Gav, Sarah, Rich and Julie this week. Sally, Peter and Joel were with us for a long weekend, and we had a great ski together and catch up. We made it up to Val for a night out,the usual places finishing up in Cafe Face for a good dance. There was a guy there on the saxaphone who was brilliant!!!We danced that long we didn’t even make it to the Tocade for a kebab!!!The stag did jump accross the road though infront of Chris’s taxi.We celebrated Gav’s birthday too so Happy Birthday Gav again for yesterday. The skiing has been good, we skied right over to Plagne Centre Friday with most of the guests. Had lunch then skied back. Most ended up in the hottub once back at the chalet, its good for tired legs!!! Its the Exley group this week, full house with 13 in so we are working hard, honest!!!! Another birthday today with one of the guests so Im sure we will be having more fizz this evening. Anyway I am closing for now but will keep you up to date with the snow report. Bye…………………..

  Well we have had our second guest to take a dip in the village basin. I cannot believe Birdy actually did it and we got a photo. He had been to la Ferme first and sampled the Mutzig, I must add. Here is the proof We had another good week with the Phil and the boys and my mum and Allwyn were out too. It was great to have them here, we had such a lovely time all together and the girls were so happy. We even got my mum up on the chairlift which was a first.Angela and Steve were here too and did well with their skiing, skiing right down into Villaroger, with the Pisteurs following down behind Steve!!!! We have blue skies and sun for a couple of weeks now, but the snow is keeping well, as the temperatures have dropped. All our guests have not been disappointed with conditions, and its so quiet on the slopes. Here are a few photos from the week.Will write again soon.  

  Our resorts are all still open and as I have said before we are certainly doing the best here for general conditions. Up high the pistes are great, yes we do need more snow low down but we are still enjoying great skiing, so once again ignore all the hype on the TV for our area. The other day the pistes were so quiet we were totally alone on some runs, so it just shows people are been put off from coming, but they are definitely missing out. Snow is forecast for tonight, and then a big dump next Tuesday apparently. We have just had a fantastic weekend for my birthday. The chalet was taken over by friends from England and we have had an action packed few days!!!Thankyou so much to everyone that came and for all my lovely presents. You all made it really special and I cannot wait until we see you all again. We all skied together in Les Arcs and had lunch at Chalet De L’Arc, in 2000. Nat my sister who has not skied much did great by skiing all the way there and back. She deserved her Mutsig at the Ferme that evening.My friend Jo arranged for the balloon man to make my a mini mouse hat there, and insisted I wore it on the slopes, until it fell off so we strapped it to my rucksack. We also skied in Ste Foy and had good conditions again. Then it was back to the chalet for a hot-tub before getting ready for the party Saturday evening. We had it at La Ferme and arranged a band and food etc.Our french friends came too and were even up dancing, and we finally finished at 4.30am. Thankyou to everyone that came and once again all the lovely presents. Big thankyou too to Don and Emma who flew in on saturday evening then left first thing Monday, you must be mad!!!! Also Mac and Zoe who came from Spain. Here are some pics from my birthday weekend.   Anneha has started Villaroger ski club and now skis with them every Wednesday pm and Saturday pm. Fi has been on her skis again and is starting to enjoy it. We have a little break now to recover until our next guests arrive, Stephen Fry and family and the lads from Silsden. Looking forward to seeing you all. My mum also arrives this weekend so we are all excited about that. Will close for now and write again soon.

  We’ve had more snow up high and skied yesterday in Les Arcs and it was so quiet. There was nobody about and the run back down to Villaroger was practically to ourselves. I am loving my new skis the Salamon Blasts and are great both in hard pack and fresh snow. Karl, for those that remember him from last year, has just arrived out for 3 weeks and I am so excited as all our friends are arriving tomorrow to celebrate my birthday this weekend. We are having a party at la Ferme on Saturday evening with a band and food etc. The rest of the time we will be skiing, lunching, and hot-tubbing no doubt, so I cannot wait. Thanks again to Sue and Co who were out here last week and I have enclosed some pics from then. Here is 1 of little Grace, her and the girls got on so well!!!!
