  The Chalet is a perfect base to explore possibly some of the best riding in the World. Just the sheer splendour and magnitude of the mountains along with stunning views and scenery offers you something totally different to the UK. Due to our central position in Paradiski, days out are endless, returning to the Chalet on an evening. You can ride around Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest mountain at 4800m. It’s always snow covered, as the name suggests. You can ride over the highest paved mountain pass in the Alps – the Col de L’Iseran just above the ski resort of Val D’Isere. This climbs to 2770 metres above sea level. You can ride over the Col de Petit St Bernard into Italy and have pizza for lunch. There are many other Cols nearby too. Photo opportunites are endless !! You’re riding at altitudes of about 6 times higher than anything in the UK. The roads twist and turn for mile after mile after mile. The road surfaces are mostly good with excellent grip; there are no traffic jams or speed traps; you’re surrounded by snow capped peaks and tumbling glaciers; and for most of the time the sun shines brightly as well. After a great day’s riding head back to the chalet for a welcome beer in the hottub, BBQ on the terrace  and a nice comfy bed !!!  All roads are tarmaced, no gravel in sight, and the parking is flat, offroad, and secure! The Chalet sleeps up to 10 people from as little as £750 for the week Self Catered !

  The French Alps, Tarentaise Valley  is a beautiful area to enjoy the unspoilt, breathtaking scenery and soak up the glorious sunshine. There are endless activities for you to enjoy here at our Summer Chalet in Les Arcs. Summer in the French Alps with us can be on a self catered basis or we can offer fully catered if required. We offer walking holidays, mountain bike holidays and cycling holidays for those who are adventurous to tackle the infamous Cols featured in the Tour De France. Les Arcs is well known for mountain biking, and a track actually runs through our village. The lifts are open during July and August to enable you to “climb the mountain the easy way” then cycle down from the top. There is also summer skiing on the Glacier in Tignes during July and August. You could have a great ski in the morning and then sunbathe in the afternoon. There are Alpine walks directly from the Summer Chalet and you can tailor walks to your ability. There are also lots of things geared for children during July and August including: Bouncy castles, tyre-riding, street carnivals, Circus’ and fetes. We also have a lake for bathing only 20 minutes away, not forgetting a day trip to Annecy which is only 1.5 hours away. Other activities include: Swimming (outdoor and indoor pools) parapenting, white-water rafting, kayaking, walking, climbing, High Adventure Playgrounds for Children and Adults,  horse riding, canyoning, hydrospeeding, quad biking, Archery, Golf (Tignes GC has the highest tee in Europe!) among almost limitless others…. All in all, whether you would like to relax at the chalet and take things easy, or enjoy full-on activities , Chalet Le Loissel, Skivillaroger is an ideal location.
