We have just celebrated Anneha's 12th birthday. We went to Park Walibi near Lyon which is a Theme Park, and she took a couple of friends. The girls love it there and drag us adults on all the fast rides.

Its nearly Half Term and we will be heading back to the UK to catch up with family and friends before the Winter starts.

The trees are a gorgeous colour here at the moment. We had some snow about a week ago down to around 1700m but its been quite mild since then. However the temperature is due to drop next week. I keep doing daily tweets so keep an eye on the website.

All the wood is in, always feels good to get that out of the way.

We are just filling in the forms for lift passes, ordering our skis for this year although I am still sticking with my Scott Rosa's. Jonny likes the look of the Dynastar Cham's.

Les Arcs and Sainte Foy open on the 15th Dec, Val and Tignes the end of November. Looking forward to getting out there.

Clocks go back this weekend , we are on COUNTDOWN !!!! WHEY!!!!!

The weather is beginning to change we have that Autumn feel here in Villaroger. Booking are coming in and its great to see that we will be seeing past guests once again this Season. New year is now full, however we have some availability  Xmas week, half term and Easter if its school holidays you need. Alternatively plenty of other dates still available for a week, 10 days, long weekend or short break skiing.

Now Jonny's training regime is over we are concentrating on getting things ready for the Winter. He's dropping the trees in the forest and stocking up the wood for the house and the chalet. Im painting and doing general sorting as well as concentrating on bookings.

The girls are all settled back in school. Anneha seems a lot happier this year probably as she is now in hwer second year. Fi has a new teacher whom she loves so fingers crossed for a good school year.

The bassin in the Village has a new cover over it and looks great. Also we have new recycling bins which will hopefully mean they will extend the car park at some time.

Sainte Foy will have electronic lift passes this year, making all the resorts the same.

Our new website for the Summer is up and running  walkthealps  so have a look and please get in touch if we can book you in for next year.

Jonny has completed successfully The Piste2Plage Challenge. Thankyou to everyone for your support, encouragement and donations for Help4Heros. We have to date raised over £327,000 between us  and had an amazing experience and adventure.

It started with a wet day on the wednesday and 3km from the top of the Col D'Iseran it started to snow. It was a blizzard with strong winds. The snow settled on the road after 15 mins. Some riders got blown off the bikes, others suffered from the cold. It was freezing conditions.

The weather got better . however the next day there was pleny of snow on the Col du Galibier and once again very cold for the riders.

The team of 160 riders  were amazing , all finishing in adverse conditions.

Here are some photos from the event.
