Happy New Year to you all. We have had snow today with more forecast over the weekend. We have had a great days skiing in La Rosiere today, the pistes over there are good although skiing down to Italy the snow is not as good as it has all been windblown. Infact there is not nearly as much that side.We then drove back to la Ferme and had drinks in there before heading home to do dinner. We are going to the firework display and torch light decent tomorrow evening in the square at Villaroger. They will be serving Vin Chaud and Hot chocolate, and the fireworks ae always to music.Afterwards we are heading back to the chalet for champagne, canapes and a meal. I can imagine the hot tub may well be full at 12 midnight. Hope you all have a good night. |

Firstly can I say happy Birthday to my good friend Sharon, 21 today!!!!(again) The pistes are in Fabulous condition, both in Paradiski and Ste Foy where we skied the other day.Our guests this week have been to La Rosiere and had a great time with plenty of blue skies and sun. Infact they are all sunburnt.Ski grizzly is proving to be very popular with people getting their boots, skis fitted at the chalet with a glass of wine/beer in hand.Villaroger side of Paradiski is very quiet, with the slopes practically to ourselves. Michelle at La Ferme is up and running and we had lunch there the other day and a few Mutzigs after skiing. We are going to Villaroger Christmas eve for the live nativity, complete with cow, sheep, donkey etc. Hope the angels keep away from the candles this year, their wings caught fire last year. Anneha and Ffi rode on Santa's sleigh today in Bourg, so are very excited. More snow is forecast at the weekend, although we are all loving the sunshine at the minute. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!!!! |

We've had lots of snow over the past few days and conditions are looking great.Paradiski opens next week as does Ste Foy with Val and Tignes already open. The Premier Neige World Cup Championships are taking place there this weekend so everywhere is very busy. The Chalet is ready for our first guests who arrive Friday. We have been trying out the Hot Tub, kids included and we think it will be a great success. For all those coming to see us this year, don't forget your trunks!!!! The menu is sorted, just got to put the christmas trees up now. Temperatures were down to -7 last night but its gorgeous sunshine and blue skies today. More snow is forecast for later in the week. We are pleased to be working with Ski Grizzly this year who are a new company delivering skis and boots directly to the chalet for those who need to hire.We feel this is a real bonus as you can email your requirements from home to arrive at the chalet when you do. This should mean you can hit the slopes as soon as you have dropped off your bags. They unfortunately this year are not doing boards so we will continue to use our shop in Bourg St Maurice. Look forward to hopefully seeing you all this coming season. |
